Camden vigil focuses on hope for change in wake of mass shootings
A vigil was held May 26 on the Village Green in Camden to mourn the loss of those who died in the recent mass shootings in Texas and Buffalo, but more importantly also to hope and call for action to change our society to prevent future tragedies.

Midcoast residents hold vigil for democracy on anniversary of Capitol attack
Speakers at a Camden vigil marked the anniversary of the Jan. 6 attack by Trump supporters on the Capitol building in Washington, D.C., calling it a “War against democracy!” Local state representatives spoke at the gathering, prayers were offered, voters were registered, and candles were lit on the Village Green.
