Traffic was diverted down side streets while cleanup was underway, which backed up traffic through the downtown portion of Thomaston and to the intersection of High Street (Route 131).

Planning Board approves solar farm changes
Thomaston Planning Board approved changes to a site plan for a solar farm currently under construction on New County Road and Pleasant Street. Abutters at the meeting said they were not notified when the project was first approved.

Thomaston residents set to vote on host of topics in June
Thomaston residents will have two consecutive days of voting in June to determine elected officials, budget items and warrant articles including two regarding the Thomaston Green. The town has scheduled a candidates night and a public hearing and information night.
