A Family for ME donates books to Read the Rainbow
Since launching the Read the Rainbow program, thanks to the incredible generosity of OUT Maine’s steadfast donors, OUT Maine has ordered over 1,300 books through hello hello books in Rockland for enrolled school libraries in 15 of Maine’s 16 counties.

Cigna Foundation grants $50,000 to OUT Maine to support LGBTQ+ youth in Maine schools
The Cigna Foundation prioritized support for Maine’s LGBTQ+ youth through its recent grant to OUT Maine. With this underwriting, OUT Maine will provide much needed support and resources to Gay/Straight/Trans Alliances (GSTAs) in schools throughout the state.

OUT Maine donors send 900-plus books to Maine school libraries
In the last month, OUT Maine sent book sets to 43 school libraries in 15 of Maine’s 16 counties, thanks to the wonderful wave of support from OUT Maine donors. Each book set contains between 16 and 24 books, and is completely free to the library.
