Hope school projects headed for town meeting
Select Board members considered placing money for a new boiler and other improvements to the Hope school on the town meeting warrant in June. An easement for a utility trench for a solar project may also go to the voters.

The town of Hope may apply for a grant to put an emergency generator in the school to provide heat and shelter. It also is considering what to do about an easement request for a trench servicing a solar project on Blueberry Hill Road.

Storm damage closes section of Route 52
It may be two weeks before Route 52 between Molyneaux Road and Beaucaire Avenue in Camden can be reopened, unless emergency funding becomes available. The state highway is a major connector between Camden and Lincolnville, towns to the west, and is the backroad to Belfast.

Vote November 2: Camden Herald polling locations, times
On Nov. 2, residents in Camden, Rockport, Hope, Appleton and Lincolnville will see state ballot items on the CMP corridor, food sovereignty and a transportation bond. Camden and Rockport residents also will see local items on their ballots.
