Midcoast residents hold vigil for democracy on anniversary of Capitol attack

Speakers at a Camden vigil marked the anniversary of the Jan. 6 attack by Trump supporters on the Capitol building in Washington, D.C., calling it a “War against democracy!” Local state representatives spoke at the gathering, prayers were offered, voters were registered, and candles were lit on the Village Green.
