Murphy to replace Duke on Rockport Select Board; voters reject tax shift plans

Rockport voters replaced two incumbents when they voted by secret ballot June 8. For the single three-year position of Select Board member and overseer of the poor, voters chose Tracy Lee Murphy over incumbent Chairman Robert Duke in a vote of 614-439.
