We go to a lot of trouble to keep water running below our roads and not on top of them. It seems that the more we abandon the streams and brooks — which are nature’s historic drainage pathways — the more it costs us in the long term.

Select Board approves big-ticket items for Snow Bowl, harbor
The town of Camden finds itself in need of 8,000 feet of steel cable for the Snow Bowl and new float systems for the harbor. The Select Board has approved the requests from staff to purchase these items.
