Zoom event explores the white-tailed deer
Rockport Public Library
Rockport — The Rockport Public Library will present a one-hour look at the white-tailed deer, Wednesday, Feb. 24, at 6 p.m.
Guest speaker Ed Robinson of Orr’s Island, Harpswell, photographer and writer, will discuss the white-tailed deer, using photos, facts and stories with a Q&A session to follow.
Robinson grew up in the Finger Lakes area of western New York and developed a love for the natural world. Since moving to Maine from England in 2007, he has been exploring the state and writing extensively about the creatures that live here. He recently published a book titled “Nature Notes from Maine: River Otters, Moose, Skunks and More,” with all profits benefiting the public education and conservation efforts of the Harpswell Heritage Land Trust.
