Youngest contestant of Dutch version of the Great British Baking Show giving a Baking Class at Camden Harbour Inn.

Cas Wolters, a renowned Dutch baker, will be joining to teach a very special fun baking class on Saturday May 11,  between 11 and 2pm. He will also create a Dutch station at our Mother’s Day Brunch with a selection of cakes and savory snacks (some from the Netherlands).

Wolters is the youngest contestant in the 2019 'Heel Holland Bakt' television program, the wildly popular Dutch version of 'The Great British Baking Show’ attracting over 3 million viewers every episode. He signed up for the show to inspire others, not only with his talent for baking, but because Cas is deaf, and wanted people to know that a disability should not stop you from following your dreams. Now you can follow him to Camden Harbour Inn for a special Master Baking Class.

Cas, in the national press dubbed 'the Dutch Prince Harry',  is studying at the PABO, a teacher education for primary-schools program while at the same time perfecting his baking skills and performing with his theater group around the Netherlands. Cas will give an interactive baking class in English and he will travel with a sign language interpreter to be able to answer questions.

Raymond Brunyanszki, owner of Camden Harbour Inn says: “ I am beyond thrilled that Cas is coming to Camden. I met him in The Netherlands, and he is a very inspiring person. His limited ability doesn’t stop him from chasing his dreams and living life to the fullest. Most of all he is a very kind and modest person, quick on his feet with a dry sense of humor. It is not surprising to me that the Netherlands fell in love with Cas as soon as the first episode of ‘Heel Holland Bakt’ aired and I am sure the people joining us for the baking class and/or brunch will feel the same way. I am glad we have the ability to connect these amazing individuals with our equally amazing community”.

Tickets for the baking class are limited and offered at $25 per person. The Mother’s Day brunch with Cas Wolters is available for $47 per person including coffee, tea and water and excluding tax and gratuity.
