Rockland — During Thanksgiving week, local yoga instructor Rachel Nixon and Trekkers are teaming up to celebrate community wellness and the spirit of giving back.

Nixon will donate all profits from three yoga classes to the Thomaston-based nonprofit Trekkers. The classes are open to the public by donation, and no previous yoga experience is required.

The class schedule is as follows: Monday, Nov. 25, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 26, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 30, from 8:30 to 10 a.m. The studio is located on the first floor at 385 Main St. in Rockland (Thorndike Building).

Space is limited to 16 students per class, and registration will take place 15 minutes before each class start time. Please bring a yoga mat (if you have one) and water. Students of all levels and abilities are invited, from beginners to advanced students.
