Yankee Clipper Mourns the Loss of a Special Friend and Employee

We at Yankee Clipper have suffered a terrible loss.  On Tuesday evening, November 27th our wonderful receptionist, Beth Delano, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep.  We are reeling from the news and are still in shock.  Beth was the face of Yankee Clipper as she was the person who greeted our four legged customers each morning and sent them home with a treat. Beth was a diligent employee and she was a joy to work with. She was kind, generous, and caring.  She was fabulously clever and had an imaginative, artistic spirit. Her creative touch can be seen everywhere here.  She also had a quirky sense of humor with which she entertained us. She told great stories but her biggest strength was the quick one liner, often shot over her shoulder as she walked by, that would have us wiping tears of laughter and gasping for breath.  Most of all, she was a friend to each of us and she leaves behind an unfillable hole in our YC family.  Our hearts go out to her family and we will gladly accept notes of condolence or monetary contributions for them.

Lisa- Beth really loved Lucas.  She got such a kick out of hearing about his camping trips.  Nobody could be more kind and gentle to the animals than she was. It is such a loss to us all.

So sorry to hear this news!  Beth was a wonderful person.  Whenever I brought Lucas in to "get pretty"  she was soo good with him. Always very friendly and kind. I am sure you will all miss her deeply.  Sorry for your loss. :(
