WWI, as you've never seen it before

By Camden Opera House | Nov 05, 2019

Doors will open 6:30 p.m. on Veterans Day -- Monday, Nov. 11 -- for the Camden Opera House’s Community Thank You Films series screening of Peter Jackson’s “They Shall Not Grow Old” at 7 p.m. Admission is free and open to all, sponsored by the Community Arts Fund.

Using state-of-the-art technology and materials from the BBC and Imperial War Museum, Oscar-winning filmmaker Jackson allows the story of The Great War to be told by the men who were there in this moving documentary, released in 2018.

The Camden Opera House’s Community Arts Fund supports programming such as the Blue Café series and MaineMadeMusic concerts, as well as free screenings and no-fee ticketing. Donations are welcome. For more information, visit camdenoperahouse.com/communityartsfund.
