– 5 p.m.  “MIXTAPE”  with Stephen Sweigart you’ll hear releases from today’s best alternative artists along with an eclectic mix of rock, folk, R&B, electronic and country. I’ve been collecting music all my life and making mix tapes for just as long. The days of audiocassettes are long gone but the craft of making a good mix remains the same – selecting songs that work together to tell a story.

- 6 p.m.  Rockland Metro is about bringing people with different perspectives together for an honest, friendly, and intense conversation in which we try to learn from each other and become more effective citizens. *Participation is open to everyone: in the studio, and on the phone.

- 7 p.m. “The Center will Hold, with Eric Gabrielsen,” - is a bi-weekly radio call-in program looking at developments of interest, both political and cultural, local and global, with a decidedly irreverent slant.

“Things fall apart; the center cannot hold; Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,” But friends, with all due apologies to William Butler, “The Center Must Hold.”

- 9 p.m. “Matinicus Wannabe with Lock Kiermaier,” playing an eclectic mixture of music that he loves: including rock, country, bluegrass, soul, rhythm & blues, folk, blues, and whatever else he’s into on any given Wednesday night.

– 11 p.m. “In the Groove,” with DJ  LaLa. This show explores the roots of hip hop through funk and soul.

– 12 a.m. “World in Song.”
