1 - 3 p.m. “World in Song”  a grand variety of music.

3 - 5 p.m. “Uncle Paul’s Jazz Closet,” with Cindy McGuirl. A show dedicated to the music of Paul Motian. Paul spent his lifetime (1931-2011) in Jazz as a drummer, composer, sideman, and band leader. Each week the show centers around a theme such as early influences, particular compositions,, a period or his work with specific players. Also featuring  short readings from Motian’s autobiography, journals, and interviews.  *Input and comments from the community are welcome 593-0013

5 - 6 p.m. “Kalimotxo w/ Jo & Todd Silver-Weeks.” Jo & Todd resurrect punk from Spain and Latin America as a voice against authoritarianism, misogyny, militarism, and police brutality.

6 - 7 p.m. “The Center Must Hold,” with Eric is a bi-weekly radio call-in program looking at developments of interest, both political and cultural, local and global, with a decidedly irreverent slant.

7 - 9 p.m. “Professor Bop,”  w/ Ronald Van Heeswijk explores the Jurassic era of modern American music (yes, the contradiction in terms is intentional) called Bebop. They will feature such noteworthy constituents as Bird, Diz, Monk, Fats, Klook, and Bud. Some forays into more modern jazz are possible with a smattering of Beatniks thrown in.

9 - 10 p.m. Knox County Broadcast…Tune in for a unique selection of indie-rock from surf to folk, late night Mondays 9:00-11. The K.C.B. is the official underground frequency of all you local misfits!
