Wreaths to stop at MVHS Dec. 10

Waldoboro — The Wreaths Across America convoy will make a stop at Medomak Valley High School Sunday, Dec. 10, as part of its ourney to Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.

Starting at 2 p.m. in the Ronald E. Dolloff Auditorium, there will be a solemn reading by students of the names of fallen soldiers.

A female representative of each war will be in attendance receiving honorary wreaths, as will representatives from each of the five towns in the school district. Students will take part in this special ceremony, in addition to law enforcement officials and first responders.

The convoy will arrive at approximately 4 p.m.

A bake sale will also be held to benefit Wreaths Across America.
