“Arriving on the First Boat” is an oil painting by Björn Runquist of Tenants Harbor.

Rockland — Midcoast artists Pam Cabañas and Bjorn Runquist, featured artists in “Art at Bartlett Woods 2018,” will offer paintings in the show with selected additions at a 40 percent discount during a fundraiser for the retirement community Saturday, Dec. 15.

“We are so thrilled that Pam and Björn will be hosting a holiday art sale at Bartlett Woods. Increasing awareness of the importance of art and culture in our community is essential,” said Mary Eads, executive director of Bartlett Woods.

A portion of the sale proceeds will be donated to the Bartlett Woods Art Fund. Cabañas and Runquist will be on hand in a salon atmosphere from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to greet visitors and present their explorations of Midcoast Maine. Holiday treats and beverages will be provided.

Bartlett Woods Retirement Community is at 20 Bartlett Drive, off Talbot Avenue. Admission to see the art is always free.
