Jun 10, 2021

Spruce Head — A St. George woman was seriously injured June 9, when she lost control of the all-terrain vehicle she was driving.

According to the Knox County Sheriff's Office, at 12:49 p.m. June 9, the Knox Regional Communications Center received a report of the ATV accident in the area of 316 Dennison Road.

Emergency crews arrived and found Felicity Hall, 42, of St. George. Police said Hall was riding an ATV on the paved road and lost control. The ATV rolled over several times and came to rest in the woods; Hall was ejected from the ATV prior to it coming to rest.

Hall was taken to a trauma unit for serious injuries.

The incident is under investigation with the assistance of the Maine Warden's Service. Speed and rider inexperience are believed to be factors in the crash.

The Sheriff's Office was assisted by KRCC, St. George Fire and EMS, Lifeflight of Maine and the Maine Warden's Service.
