Rockland — Salt Stage will mount a two-show residency at FOG Bar & Café, 328 Main St. The series is offered as a winter warmer designed to ease the edges of hibernation and bring the light back into deep winter eyes.

“Winter Salt” will present Grammy Award winner Stephane Wrembel, Gypsy jazz guitarist, Friday, Feb. 2; and Grammy-nominated Celia Woodsmith (Taj Mahal, Big Brother and the Holding Company) in a duo with local Maine mandolinist Joe K. Walsh Friday, Feb. 9. In Salt Stage tradition, music is paired with vaudeville/variety or circus arts. These events will both feature Jessica Jones, Maine contortionist, acrobat and so much more.

FOG will offer craft beers and spirits, as well as limited dinner reservations. The all ages events are aimed to inspire; tickets are $18. For more information and tickets (limited), visit saltstage.com/live or obtain tickets in person at FOG Bar.

Salt Stage gives a special thank you to 250 Main Hotel and to Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors for sponsoring “Winter Salt,” making it possible to offer these varied evenings in the middle of the winter for less that $20.
