South Paris — The Camden Hills wrestling squad continued to prepare for the regular season as it competed in its second preseason high school meet on Saturday, Dec. 2 hosted by Oxford Hills.

The format was a duals tournament and the Windjammers finished third behind host Oxford Hills and Massabesic of Waterboro.

Camden Hills coach Patrick Kelly said Nikita Perevalov was voted "wrestler" of the meet for his squad. "His physical presence, cat-like speed and dominance on the mat made him an easy choice," the veteran coach said.

Wrestler of the meet for Camden Hills is decided by the Windjammer coaching staff.

Last week, Eric Andrews earned the honor.
