Williams-Brazier Post 037 American Legion

Thomaston — To commemorate Memorial Day Post 37 will hold a drive up/walk up baked bean supper at their Legion Hall on 37 Watts Lane. This is not a sit down supper and all coronavirus state guidelines will be followed.

On May 16, the Williams-Brazier Post 037, of the American Legion, will host a baked bean Supper, with  a twist, to try and bring back a traditional Post activity to provide to our members and patrons.

If this is a success, we will continue the monthly baked bean supper monthly, until we can gather as a group once again.

Each meal will be packed in “to go” boxes and placed into a paper bag. Patrons can drive/walk to the front of the Legion Hall and order a meal and pay for it. A Legion member will retrieve the order and bring it back to the patron. The meal will be just like the usual baked bean supper, except for the dessert.

Menu to include baked beans, hot dogs, cole slaw, American chop suey, rolls, brown bread, sweet and sour pickles, coffee, Jell-O and fruit dessert. The cost is $8 per person. Doors open at 5 p.m.
