Rockland — The Coastal Children's Museum, 75 Mechanic St., welcomes Brett Willard from Merryspring Nature Center for a workshop Saturday, April 14, at 11 a.m. on Maine’s wildlife. This will be a hands-on program exploring the skulls and furs of native Maine animals. Kids ages 4 and up are invited to take a look at the adaptations that make Maine’s wildlife suited for living in the state's forests and fields.

Willard, originally from Burnt Hills, N.Y., has bachelor's degree in environmental studies from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. His programs call on his deep understanding and love of nature. This workshop is included in the price of admission and is free for members. For more information, call 596-0300.
