Wild & Scenic Film Festival on Tour Nov. 9 at the UMaine Hutchinson Center

Belfast, Maine — The Wild & Scenic Film Festival on Tour will be hosted by the Midcoast Conservancy on Saturday, Nov 9 at the University of Maine Hutchinson Center.

The event from 3-5:30 p.m. will be highlighted by short films, followed by a reception and inspired conversation in the center’s atrium. Tickets at the door are $10; $7 for students and children; no admission cost for youngsters age 10 and under.

The 10 films, produced by the California-based South Yuba River Citizens League (SYRCL), focus on how individuals and communities across the globe are taking action and becoming part of the solution on issues ranging from energy, food systems, biodiversity, climate change to the protection and restoration of wild lands and wild waters.

More event information is on the Midcoast Conservancy website: https://www.midcoastconservancy.org.
