Duncan Morrell runs the auction with Kelsey Morrell and Brittany Brown as pickers.

Waldoboro — The Lincoln County Fish and Game Association hosted a Wild Game Dinner and Auction Jan. 16 at the VFW Hall in Waldoboro.

The dinner included wild game such as: fish, goose, moose, deer, beaver and bear. At the end of the evening the entrée table was picked over well with many people complimenting the dishes and enjoying all the homemade desserts.

After dinner Duncan Morrell, treasurer of the Club auctioneered several items from these local businesses: Storer Lumber, N.C. Hunt Lumber, Staley’s Gun Shop, Dow Furniture, Louis Doe’s Home Center, Doe Run Supply Company, Medomak River Trading Post, Johnson’s Sporting Goods and Bear Hill Hardware. The funds from the auction and dinner will be used for renovations to the Club’s 50-foot indoor rifle range to continue to reach the community with shooting opportunities.

Many club members donated meat or dishes to share and volunteered their time at the event.
