Whitefield Pottery at the Badger

Dec 03, 2017
Whitefield Pottery’s “Dragonfly Platter” is part of the handcrafted tableware by Libbey Seigars on view in December at Union’s Badger Café and Pub.

Union — Libbey Seigars of Whitefield Pottery is showing a selection of new work all month at the Badger Café and Pub, 286 Common Road.

Whitefield Pottery handcrafts tableware that is individually created and decorated; the designs are inspired by nature. Seigars’ work reflects the Japanese influence of her studies and apprenticeship in Vermont and Japan. She works in earthenware clay primarily, doing thrown work.

Seigars, originally from Caribou, began her first studios in Kennebunk and Portland in the early 198’s and later moved to Whitefield to establish Whitefield Pottery. For more information, call 518-3781; email whitefieldpottery@gmail.com; or visit whitefieldpottery.com.
