Watts Hall plans ‘Child’s Christmas’

Nov 26, 2018

Thomaston — Watts Hall Community Players is planning to present a reading of Dylan Thomas’ “A Child’s Christmas in Wales” in December, aiming for the weekend before Christmas. There will be only one performance, followed by hot chocolate and caroling.

The troupe is looking for a large, multi-age group of experienced stage readers — and totally inexperienced enthusiasts — to present the text, which will be divided into small “chunks,” sometimes as small as a sentence or single word. Young non-readers also are encouraged to participate.

There will probably be no more than two short rehearsals. For more information or to participate, send email to darylhahn@gmail.com.
