Climate Action Leadership Lab program
Feb 12, 2021
Watershed School CALL students hold signs for their cause.

Camden — Watershed School will be holding a virtual open house for their Climate Action Leadership Lab semester program, Thursday, March 4, at 6:30 p.m.

Prospective families and students are invited to learn about CALL, a semester-long program for high school sophomores and juniors, equipping students with knowledge and tools to act on climate change in their community. The open house will focus on the CALL curriculum, opportunities for students both locally and around the world, and day-to-day life at Watershed. Watershed faculty, current students, current parents, and alumni will be there to answer questions.

“The Climate Action and Leadership Lab inspires the next generation to overcome the challenges posed by climate change with resilience and creativity,” said Will Galloway, head of school. “Through conversations, projects, innovative coursework, and community partnerships, our students are creating a 21st-century culture that prioritizes communication, conservation, stewardship, and sustainability.”

Attendees can learn more about CALL at watershed-school.org/call and register for the Open House  at watershed-school.org/VirtualOpenHouse. They will then receive an invitation to the Zoom event via email. For more information, visit watershed-school.org or call 230-7341.
