Washington store targeted in break-in

Washington — The Knox County Sheriff's Office is investigating a break-in at a store in Washington.

The department reports that shortly before 4 a.m. May 9, officers responded to a burglary at Jacksons' Corner Store. Someone broke into the Route 17 store, stole a cash box and fled the scene before officers arrived.

The case is under investigation.

The Sheriff's Office is also investigating the theft of two mailboxes from the Collinstown Road in Appleton. The mailboxes, located near each other, were discovered missing Sunday morning, May 10. They were last seen May 9.

This case also remains under investigation.

They maybe too lazy to work but not to  nervous or lazy to steal someone else's  hard earned money
