Walk to Rockland Harbor hosted by lifetime bird-watcher Feb. 19

Rockland — Lifetime birder Ann Boover will offer a field trip for birders of all ages and abilities to Rockland Harbor Wednesday, Feb. 19 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Registered participants will gather at the Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, 9 Water St. at 10 a.m., then the group will head out to search for birds.

Dress warmly and bring binoculars if possible; the program will have a few to loan.

After looking for birds, the group will return to the center to warm up with hot cocoa.

The movie, "Counting on Birds," will be offered for those who wish to learn about the Christmas bird count.
