Waldoboro — Waldoboro police officers responded to 201 calls for service Jan. 13 to Feb. 3. Below are a few of the highlights:

Jan. 14

Officer Larry Hesseltine summoned Tamiko Harvey, 36, of Waldoboro for operating with an expired license.

Jan. 15

Officer John Lash investigated a report of criminal mischief to a lawn.

Jan. 16

Hesseltine investigated a report of the theft of a pellet stove.

Jan. 28

Hesseltine summoned James Wilkinson, 23, of Jefferson with harassment by telephone.

Jan. 30

Hesseltine summoned a 15-year-old female for assault and criminal mischief.

Jan. 31

Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated a report from the Big Apple of a $25.58 gasoline drive off.

Fuller investigated an accident on the Atlantic Highway at 2:40 p.m. Michael Austin, 17, of Waldoboro, attempted to pass on the right in a 2000 Pontiac sedan and collided with Barbara Collins, 62, of Lisbon, who was turning right into a business in a 2012 Toyota utility vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Sgt. Jamie Wilson arrested Michael Hoffman, 37, of Jefferson for domestic violence terrorizing.

Feb. 3

Fuller investigated a report of harassing phone calls.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
