Waldoboro library book fair, bake sale Dec. 17

Raffle tickets are being sold for a Waldoboro Public Library, made of gingerbread.

Waldoboro — On Monday, Dec. 17 from noon to 7 p.m.,  the Waldoboro Public Library will be the place to be for one-stop Christmas shopping.

The Trustees and Friends of the Library are sponsoring a bake sale and book fair with a wide selection of choices for everyone on the shopping list.

The bake sale will feature homemade treats such as pies, cakes, breads, and Christmas cookies. The highlight of the sale will be the gingerbread house which has been designed to replicate the library building. This house will be sold by raffle for $1 per ticket. Tickets are available for purchase at the library.

In the Children's Room of the library, there will be a book fair. Brand new books of fiction, non-fiction, mysteries, how-to books and children's books will be featured with a large selection of books for all ages and interests.
