Vipers put the blues bite on Monday Night

Rockland — The weekly Monday night blues series continues April 1 with Neil and The Vipers, playing a 7 to 10 p.m. show in the upstairs music room of Time Out Pub, 275 Main St. Admission will be $15 at the door, which opens at 6 p.m.

American roots band from Rhode Island plays music that encompasses the blues, rock ‘n’ roll, rockabilly and surf, winning new fans at music festivals and club dates. Neal Vitullo and the Vipers have shared the stage with music legends such as B.B. King, Roy Buchanan, John Lee Hooker, Bonnie Raitt, Albert Collins, Greg Allman, Jimmy Vaughan, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Willie Dixon, Johnny Copeland, Robert Plant and The Fabulous Thunderbirds.

The weekly Monday series continues April 8 with the Dave Keller Band ($15); April 15, Brandon Santini ($15); April, 22 Peter "Hifi" Ward Band ($10); and April 29, Harper ($15). There also will be a special Thursday night concert April 11 with Biscuit Miller & The Mix ($15).
