Veterans honored at Rockland ceremony

Rockland — Rockland held a ceremony to mark Veterans Day 2020.

About 20 people turned out Nov. 11 for the event held at the Winslow-Holbrook Park at the intersection of Main Street and Park Drive.

Members of the Winslow-Holbrook-Merritt American Legion Post were present. Taps was played.

The Bay Winds North Wind Ensemble performed.

A shame there was no announcement of this ceremony in the press. Did the Legion forget to send it in, or did my old eyes miss it in VS?
