UU church offers breakfast at holiday fair Nov. 18

Rockland — The public is invited to shop for holiday gifts at a Holiday Fair at the First Universalist Church, 345 Broadway, Friday, Nov, 17, from 5 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 18, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sale items include handmade knitted and crocheted apparel, holiday ornaments, sewn items, pet supplies, homemade pies (pre-order for Thanksgiving), baked goods, home-canned goods, selections at a “grandma’s attic” jewelry and white elephant table, new-to-you clothing, and more.

In addition, this year there will be instructional sessions at 9 and 11 a.m. Saturday.to learn how to create cozy mittens from old wool sweaters. Bring your own felted cloth, or there will be supplies available to work with.

A breakfast/brunch will be available to purchase Saturday, along with other edible treats. Admission is free, cash and local checks only accepted. For more information, call 594-8750.
