UPDATE - Mid-Coast Solid Waste announces changes in recycling

Mar 20, 2020

Mid-Coast Solid Waste is temporarily suspending some transfer station services, but anticipates normal hours of operation, Tuesday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., to continue.

Effective Tuesday, March 24, until further notice, the following changes will be made:

No recycling material will be accepted, except for corrugated cardboard.

All recycling materials except for corrugated cardboard must be placed in a yellow household trash bag.

There will be no community bottle donations.

ScrapDogs Composting Services are suspended until further notice.

Please follow the instructions provided by our employees.

Drive with care and cooperate with any temporary traffic patterns and signage.
