Unity — The 35th annual Unity College Spring 5-Kilometer Road Race is set for Saturday, April 22 at 9:30 a.m. on the school’s campus and roads of the town.

The rural setting of the campus is relaxed and comfortable and the long downhill start is advantageous for those looking to get a quick start in the 3.1-mile race that stretches out and back through Unity.

It is one of the fastest and flattest 3-1-mile courses in the state.

Registration for the race begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday and costs $10. Awards are given by age group set by Ray Phinney, first-year race director and dean of students.

For more information, call Phinney at 509-7241 or email him at Make checks payable for registration for Unity College, 90 Quaker Hill Road, Unity, ME, 04988.
