Uh Oh! The Shingles Blew Off During That Last Storm – Do I Need a New Roof?

After a storm, you may notice your roof is looking a bit different. You may also notice entire shingles, or pieces of shingles, in your yard. Wind, hail, and even significant rain can blow the shingles from the roof, exposing the underlayment and possibly even the wood beneath it. When this happens, it’s important to act right away. It’s not always necessary to replace the entire roof after this type of incident, but there are a few things you should know.
