U.S. Rep. Chellie Pingree to speak at chamber breakfast March 20

U.S. Rep. Chellie Pingree will speak at the Business Breakfast of the Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce March 20.

Rockport — U.S. Rep. Chellie Pingree, D-Maine, will be the featured speaker Wednesday, March 20, at the Business Breakfast of the Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce. The event will be held at the Samoset Resort, from 7 to 9 a.m. The chamber hosts Business Breakfasts periodically to provide networking opportunities for local businesses, along with a chance to hear from high-profile speakers in a local setting.

A resident of North Haven, Pingree has represented Maine’s First Congressional District since she was first elected to the post in 2008. Pingree will speak about current issues facing Congress, and about her work on the Appropriations and Agriculture committees.

Admission, which includes breakfast, is $25 for chamber members, and $30 for nonmembers. Preregistration is required, and those wishing to attend may visit CamdenRockland.com and click on the “Events” menu to register. Register by Friday, March 15.
