U.S. Figure Skating Association Test Passed

Skating Association of Maine member Jenna Taylor passed her USFSA Preliminary Moves in the Field Test on November 12th in Falmouth.  Jenna has been skating since age seven and is currently an 8th grader at Camden Rockport Middle School.

The USFSA defines a system of "Tests" which allow a skater to progress through a sequence of logical steps in his or her competitive development.  Moves-in-the-field is a technical discipline designed to improve skater's abilities in areas such as stroking, turns, edge work, etc.

Passing a USFSA test is a great accomplishment--congratulations Jenna!
