MEET JACK MCGRATH, PRESIDENT OF THE COAST GUARD HERITAGE MUSEUM IN BARNSTABLE, MASSACHUSETTS

Coast Guard historian Jack McGrath will take us from the 1919 first aircraft flight across the Atlantic in the U.S. Navy Flying Boat, the NC-4 with Coast Guard Pilot Lieutenant Elmer F. Stone winning the “Blue Ribbon of the Air” for the United States of America. Then across time to the present with helicopter rescue units to C-130 surveillance aircraft.
