CAMDEN — Two Camden residents are vying for a seat on the SAD 28/Five Town CSD board.

Incumbent Lynda Chilton and Patrick McCafferty returned nomination papers for the school board position to the Camden Town Office by the April 13 deadline.

Nomination papers have been returned by Jenna Lookner and Taylor Benzie for two open seats on the select board. Three who took out nomination papers, Dorothy Foote, John Lewis and George Pilgrim, did not return them.

The open seats are currently held by John French and Lookner.

French is a long-time member of the select board, and is currently chairman. He announced earlier this year that he would not seek reelection.

Lookner is currently serving a one-year term on the select board. She was elected last June to finish out the three-year term held by her late father, Leonard Lookner.

Jonathan Beitler and Stephanie Griffin returned nomination papers for a three-year term on the personnel board.

Elected positions will be decided at the polls June 12.
