Travel journaling class offered

Rockland — The Sail, Power and Steam Museum at Sharp’s Point South will present a travel journaling workshop with Lucinda Hathaway Tuesday, Aug. 22, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Hathaway is a world traveler and author of books for children about the travels of Takashi.

Attendees will learn to do a quick sketch with pen to journal their vacations. Learning to do watercolor journaling can enhance any trip, making a memory to enjoy later. This class is for painters and/or beginners.

Travel journaling is a lifelong skill. Fee is $50, all materials provided. To reserve a place, call 701-7627 or 596-0200.
