Trail of Terror calls for volunteers

Union — The Union Fair is seeking voluntarily scary actors and tour guides, as well as volunteers for many other kinds of help, for the second annual Trail of Terror, which will open Friday, Oct. 20, on the Union Fairgrounds off Route 17.

The grounds have been turned into a series of frightful sites and now is the time for volunteers to welcome, and scare, the event’s many visitors. Trail of Terror will run from 6 to 9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Oct. 20, 21, 27 and 28; as well as the final frightful nights, Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 30 and 31.

Volunteers are encouraged to participate no matter the number of nights they may be available. A general meeting in the Union Fair Exhibition Hall is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 15, at 1 p.m. Those interested are asked to contact Erica Harriman at Erica@EricaHarrimanCPA.com or call her office at 785-3044.

Proceeds from The Trail of Terror support the ongoing upkeep of the Union Fairgrounds and its many facilities.
