Tour the Biennial — in 3D

Rockport — On Jan. 19, it was discovered that the Center for Maine Contemporary Art was flooded, due to a water main break under the floor. All the artwork has been removed to safe locations as repairs take place. But the CMCA Biennial 2018 still can be perused — virtually.

The online CMCA Biennial Tour can be enjoyed at any time at cmcanow.org. Presented by Dave Clough Photography, the 3D tour is taken by clicking and dragging through the Main, Bruce Brown and Guy D. Hughes galleries; and the Marilyn Moss Rockefeller Lobby.

The CMCA Biennial 3D tour is the first of a year of virtual tours planned for the art center, which is looking to expand its audience beyond its award-winning — and temporarily unavailable — physical walls.
