Tolles art show opens in Hope

“Collins Alley” is among the paintings of local artist Jim Tolles going on view in Hope this winter.

Hope — Work by Owls Head artist Jim Tolles will be featured this winter at the Hope Library, 441 Camden Road/Route 105. The public is invited to attend an artist’s reception Friday, Jan. 11, from 4 to 6 p.m. to celebrate the kick-off of his art show.

Tolles began his painting career at the age of 40. He is a landscape artist, with a focus on the architectural. He shows his work at the Black Hole Gallery in Rockland, the Jameson Gallery in Portland, the Portland Museum of Art Auction and the Maine Audubon Society Auction.
