Three people charged after fight in Union

Union — Three people were charged Sunday afternoon after police said they were involved in a fight in Union.

Christopher Gamage, 27, of Appleton, was arrested and charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct; Desiree Hall, 24, of Union, was charged with domestic violence assault; and Ethan Senay, 29, of Saint George, was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, and criminal mischief, according to the Knox County Sheriff's Office.

According to the Sheriff's Office, there was a physical altercation between several people at Common House of Pizza in Union about 2 p.m. March 22. Deputies were notified as the fights were happening.

The participants had separated prior to the arrival of police.

Gamage had a semi-automatic pistol, according to police. He was taken to the Knox County Jail in Rockland and released on bail.

Officers observed minor injuries to the participants, believed to be the result of trading blows although that was not unconfirmed, the department reported. None of the involved parties expressed concern for the injuries and refused treatment for them.
