The Waldo County YMCA is a non-profit agency whose mission is to promote the physical, mental, social, and spiritual development of Waldo County children and families.


It is through collaborative efforts that they are able to extend more opportunities to more people. A direct contributor is the Directors of United Mid-Coast Charities, who recently awarded the YMCA a grant. The Waldo County YMCA proudly describes itself as “a United Mid-Coast Charities Agency”.


It is the policy of the Waldo County YMCA to provide quality programs to all, regardless of their ability to pay. Financial-aid applications are available to all upon request.


Support from United Mid-Coast Charities enables the YMCA to meet the changing needs of the community and provide financial support to the children and families throughout Waldo County. Financial assistance recipients experience a lasting impact made on their lives through their positive and active engagement in the many programs and activities the YMCA has to offer.
