The Plot Thickens, in Rockport

Jun 14, 2018
Gin Mackey

Rockport — Rockport Public Library, 485 Commercial St./Route 1, will host a The Plot Thickens writing workshop with Gin Mackey Wednesday, June 27, at 6 p.m. This event is free and open to all.

Those who have ever wondered how authors come up with the kind of twists and turns that kept them reading way past their bedtimes will learn how one writer plots her novels.  And those interested in gaining insight into what happens as a plot is created, or perhaps thinking of plotting their own novels, will enjoy this presentation, as well. There will be time for Q&A to follow.

Mackey is the author of “Disappear Our Dead,” a Midcoast Maine murder mystery; and “Suddenly Spying,” a madcap caper. She is past president of Sisters in Crime/New England and a member of Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance. She lives and writes in Owls Head.

Courier Publications’ A&E Editor Dagney C. Ernest can be reached at (207) 594-4401, ext. 115; or dernest@courierpublicationsllc.com.
