The First completes renovations at Union Street branch

By First National Bank | Mar 13, 2014

Renovations to the Bank’s 63 Union Street office in Rockland are now complete.

The newly renovated space features state-of-the-art teller pods, designed for customer convenience. President Daigneault explains, “The pods open up the bank’s lobby, removing the traditional teller line barrier between customers and tellers. We want our office to have a very welcoming feel, and we think this design will help our staff achieve this mission.” In addition to the pods, the office now has a community conference room with a separate entrance that allows outside groups to use the room during non-banking hours.  Additional customer conveniences include Saturday and early open banking hours, two drive-up teller lanes, and a drive-up ATM.

The team at The First would like to thank its customers for their patience during the renovation, and they welcome the community in to see the newly remodeled office, which now includes a 75-gallon salt water fish tank on display in the lobby. Lobby hours for the Union Street office are Monday through Thursday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm, and Saturday 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.  Drive-up hours are Monday through Wednesday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Thursday and Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
