The Age of True Love

I don’t really care what others may say or think about me. (The accuser of the brethren works through deceived, but well-meaning Christians). Only that which my Lord has to say and how He sees me and those that I love whom I trust knowing they care for me. We must love the Lord more than the opinion and view of others. Love enables us to see clearly through the eyes of the Father’s heart. In order to have clear prophetic vision, our view must be that of heaven's view.

We must see one another after the Spirit not by one’s past, heresy, gossip, failures or shortcomings. As we walk in love and humility, seeking above all to know Him and His truth, we find our true self as God has created us in His image.

As it is written, I am not your workmanship, nor are you mine, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them” (Eph. 2:10).

As the apostle Paul revealed, we must labor to see Christ formed in His people. People are not modeled after our views or ministry, but that of Christ. Nor are we to compare ourselves among ourselves. Christ is our standard. Our mandate is to use our ministry to build up His people, rather than to use His people to build up our ministry. As we build up His house in love for the habitation of His Spirit, He will trust us with true spiritual authority.

On earth, believers often seek to be recognized by their titles, position, and influence as well as by their gifting. In heaven, God recognizes His people by their love, humility, obedience, and service. All else is because of His grace.

Likewise, success on earth is often measured by the size of one's congregation, influence, and scope of ministry. True success can only be measured by how much more clearly we are able to behold the Lord, how much better we know His voice and how much more we love the brethren.

This is the age of true love. Those who love Him will fully seek Him. As darkness increases upon the earth and gross darkness upon the people, the light of His love will burn even brighter upon His sons and daughters (Is. 60:1-3). Those who love Him and love the truth will search for Him more than they will for the greatest treasures. They will also seek to be fully conquered by Him. As His people devote themselves to surrendering to Him, He will use His people to conquer in His name.

True conquest is to capture the hearts of men with the truth that sets men free. I love to see the power of God’s love touch the heart of His people. When we learn to live our life from the place of His heart, we can touch the heart of others with the truth of His love. The truth of God and His love at Calvary released the power to conquer even death itself. The revelation of His truth and His love has the power to redeem the lost, heal the brokenhearted and set the captives free.

Our mission is to know our heavenly Father and His love, and from the place of His presence, minister with His heart to touch the heart of others with His love. This is the faith that works by love and we know that love never fails.

In His love with great joy – Roy
