Camden — Architect Christopher Glass presents a program titled "The Golden Age of Camden's Cottages" at the Camden Public Library, 55 Main St., Oct. 24 at 7 p.m.

Glass will survey cottages from different eras that still exist in town. Emphasis will be on the golden age of the cottages built at the turn of the 20th century. This is a repeat of a slide lecture given in March under the auspices of the Camden-Rockport Historical Society.

Glass is an architect practicing in Camden since 1974. His practice has consisted primarily of new houses and renovations to existing ones, along with historic preservation and small commercial and church projects. He is the former architect member and chairman of the Maine Historic Preservation Commission and former president of Maine Preservation and has received awards from both organizations.
